1 Pre-game

There are so many things going on in my head right now. I'm anxious and excited, but I'm also a little stressed with last second details and lack of sleep. Occasionally I feel sad that my lazy days of summer are almost over and I have to give up all of those projects I said I would get done with my much needed break (and of course I didn't do anything productive). But then I remember that I'm going to Germany! Even though I've been thinking about this trip for months, now that it's time to go I don't feel mentally prepared at all. The truth is I have no idea what to expect, but that's what makes it so exciting! I'm not sure what's going to happen - I'm just getting on a 13 hour flight and going. If I had to say I have any goals for this trip it would be to have the least tourist-y experience as possible and to be open to anything and anyone. I'm looking forward to meeting everyone again and I'll see you guys tomorrow! ~Laura
