First Week Coming to an End

The first week in Germany is coming to a close and I have been having an awesome time. I spent my first week in Greece. My friend Jerry and I went to several different ruins and some beaches. Even in Greece, there were several different things about Europe. There were recycle bins everywhere, just like in Germany. Also, it was interesting that we had to pay to use the restroom sometimes. I had a fairly easy connection into Dusseldorf. This is pretty good because on the way to Greece, I was stuck in Frankfurt for several hours.
I didn't stay long in Germany because I headed off to Amsterdam. There, we visited several interesting museums including the van Gogh museum. We mostly had fun looking at all the crooked buildings.
On Sunday, I returned to the host family's house. So far, I have really enjozed staying here. My host mom, Kirsten Opdenberg, is very nice and she has a son named Kristoffer. There are three of us staying here. The family seems pretty close because my host mom's mother and sister live nearby. Those houses are both housing students as well.
Ok, well I am getting frustrated enough with the switched y and z on the keyboard, so I will post more about the week on a later date.
