The carnival last night was great. I expected a typical American carnival with few rides and a lot of junk food. I wasn't excited about going, but Leigh convinced me to go and I did so grudgingly. The crowds in the Altstadt were huge for a Monday. I thought it was odd that a carnival would lure so many out so early in the week.
It turns out that the carnival was really fun. I liked how it turned out to be a huge party with lights and music. A bunch of us danced for a while, and some German ladies joined! Everyone had a great time. The Rhine was beautiful as we crossed the bridge to return home.
On a side note, I am very tired. I'm sorry if I made any errors in this blog, but I think I made some sense!
