A Bid Farewell

Well here I am, fixing to jump in the car and go to houston to catch a plane. I had a good but bittersweet 4th yesterday as the rain kept me from going to the lake. For the longest time I've been telling all of my friends how excited I am about going to Germany. Someone asked me the other day "am I really ready"? and goosebumps went down my back. I think the experience is going to be bar-none, but I just have to push myself to get over there, and get in the groove of things. I am excited and nervous at the same time. My stomach has butterflies. I love flying, that's not the issue. It's just, it's all the way on the other side of the world. Next time I write I'll be on the other side of the ocean!
