First day in Dusseldorf

Guten Tag. My mother and I have been up and about today seeing the town and doing a little cooking. Afetr which I took quite a sizeable nap as my family left for the French Countryside for the night. I love how everything is close for them, when we think about going on Holiday it is driving for 8 or 10 hours at least but for them Nederlander and France and wonderful places are only a couple of hours drive. I took the UBahn to Heiric-Heine-Alle to see Dusseldorf proper tonight and to get comfortable with the busses and trains. Got un alt beer in Altsdat tonight and saw the street sceen at night down there which was very energetic and fun. I am looking forward to Monday and the start of the program, but until then i will be enjoying the wonderful fruit you can get here and the beer. So long. -Jacob Davis
