hey, my name is Sarah, and I'm definitely ready to be in Germany! I think I'm finally finished packing! I've been home about a week at my parents house in Tiki Island, near Galveston, and it's been a little bit of a challenge to get everything in order but all of that stress will be gone when I've finally gotten on my flight. I'm not too worried about the length of the flight, especially after I've endured the 15 hour flight from New York to Delhi before!
I'm a little nervous about going alone, but I know it won't feel that way once we're all there. It's pretty nice to be experiencing Europe with fellow Aggies :). I've also talked to my host family through emails and they seem really great, and I'm sure it'll be a good experience, especially since they've hosted lots of students, including some from last year's program. Also, one of my host parents, Christa, will be teaching us German! She asked if any of us knew any, but I wasn't sure. I just know I don't- at all! ;)...... but she seems really great and she said she will do her best to teach us as much as possible.
Well, I hope everyone is excited by now, and I hope you all have safe flights and i'll see you in dusseldorf on friday!
