Well, I'm getting ready to head over to Germany; I leave in two days now. As the time between now and take-off gets shorter the anxiety grows. Don't worry though, the anxiety is low. More than anything I am just really excited about going on this trip. I was in Europe (France and England) earlier this summer, through most of May, and I had a wonderful time. I think that my earlier trip has prepared me for this one.

My host family seems very nice, judging by the few emails we have sent back and forth. The family consists of a husband and wife, a 9 year old boy, a 3 year old girl, and a grandmother. I'm more excited to meet the little kids than anything else, to be honest. They are housing two other girls from Texas, but they are leaving on Tuesday (in a week). The wife, Bea, is adorable in her emails because you can tell she is struggling with the English language; I'm really happy about that because I want to try a bit of German with them.

The one thing I am not worrying about is packing. I am currently staying at my grandmother's house in the middle of no where in northern Ontario, Canada. So everything is already packed (and I KNOW that it all fits in the suitcase). All that is left to do is get on the plane and head over. Hope everyone has a fun safe flight and I will see you in a few days!
