Hey everyone! This is Michelle. I am currently making an overnight pit stop in New Orleans as I drive home to Miami so I can fly out from there to Deusseldorf! I am so excited about the trip. I have only been out of the country a couple times, but never to across the Atlantic. I know it is going to be a great experience.

I think the thing I'm looking foward to most is just being emersed in a completely new culture. From what Dr. Wasser has told us about the Germans, I know that they are very orderly people. I know that they're also sincere and say what they mean, which is great. That's how things should be everywhere!
I'm glad that they appreciate even our slightest efforts to speak their language because I only know a tiny bit of German, and what I do know comes out of my mouth sounding awful! I do, however, intend to learn a lot more German once I'm over there.
I purchased a Eurail pass the other day. I got the select pass and chose France, Beneleux, Switzerland, and Germany over 6 travelling days. I also really want to go to th UK.

I can't wait until I arrive! I wish everyone a safe trip and I will see you all in Duesseldorf!
