Wow what a week

So totally cool that I got to see open heart surgery on a one month old. Dr. Sandica was nice and seemed to enjoy explaining everything he was doing. He even offered for us to come back to watch a transplant. It was amazing and definitly afirmed the fact that I want to study and continue in cardovascular medicine. So amazing!

I had to go to the doctor for my foot. It hurt much more than when I broke it so I was sure I rebroke it... but I didn't and the experince I had I can only describe as werid and slightly scary. The doctor did not speek english and his assistance spoke about as much english as I do german and they spoke back in forth together for about 5 minutes about my foot and I did not understand a word besides Not Broke.

Amesterdam was different than I expected. Food was good, company was good... with the exception of some random guy *who is from the town next to mine back home*. I crashed last night and Chrissy and determined that we have to put ourselves on a budget. And Heineken tour was fun. Beer is good and we found great not expensive gifts for friends back home. Over all it was a very successful week with different points that really put a mark on me. Glad I have a camera to catch all the moments because if not I dont know if I would really believe it happened.

I also made a yahoo picture thing so everyone can post pics and we can get the ones we want. The user name is vet2006med and the password is on the whiteboard... I do not want to put it on here but it is really easy to remeber.
