Interlaken

Doug and I have had an eventful start to our weekend. To start our first train was delayed twenty minutes due to technical problems, causing us to arrive just as our next train was supposed to be leaving. Luckily it was running late, but we only had five minutes in between our second and third trains. We had already planned how to get there if we missed the next train, but luckily we made up a few minutes and were able to run on to our last train. We then arrived and headed down to the pool. The manager of the hotel informed us that a volleyball tournament was about to start, and after much convincing of Doug, we joined. It was a 4v4 tounrnament composed of six teams, so we were forced to play a round robbin of all the teams then a semi-final and final. The two girls we were paired with (although lots of teams were four guys) actually worked at the hotel and were really good. All in all, we won all 7 games and a bottle of Jagermeister as a prize. We decided to go to bed early, so we could wake up early and go canyoning on Saturday. Canyoning proved to be the most adrenaline-filled activity I have ever experienced. It is comprised of jumping off cliffs into pools and sliding down rock slides. Check it out at http://www.outdoor-interlaken.ch/en/summer/canyoning/

It is the chili one (the longest most thrilling one). Wow, I really dont even have words to describe how amazing it was. We are probably just going to relax for a little bit until tonight when the party life starts. Interlaken is amazing.
