Trains, Planes, and Automobiles

So in an attempt to be spontaneous Derek, Erin, and I took a night train from Switzerland to Dusseldorf. We also cut some corners by not reserving sleepers and just getting regular seats instead. We were supposed to get off the train at 5 am. So we woke up at quarter till and realized we were sitting still in a station that was not a scheduled stop. So Erin and I went to find the conductor to figure out the problem. About 7 cars up we finally found a crew member (who had been very rude to us earlier) and she informed us the train was splitting and we were now seperated from our luggage and Derek. So Erin and I ran back through the train like mad women to find that the train was not splitting currently or ever. Finally Erin begged the conductor to make an emergency stop in Koln and he did. We finally got off the train and just waited and took a new train to Dusseldorf. It was quite an adventure for 5:30 in the morning. But we made it back to school with plenty of time to spare.
