So far...

We have done so many exciting things since the big arrival. It has been a non-stop adventure with a lot of walking, and therefore my feet are killing me. My host mom Kirsten is a pretty cool lady. She works at a disco and is out all night long, but we are happy she speaks English. So far, the heart surgery has been my favorite thing. It was so cool to be that close to a cracked chest! We just got home from being in Amsterdam for the weekend and it was quite the experience. We got there at night and walked around the Red Light District for a few minutes until we realized that we just feel very sorry for those girls who feel like they need to stand in a window at night and hope for a male visitor....disgusting. Anyways, we went to a lot of museums, my favorite being the Heineken Experience. Some of us stayed in a houseboat and it was quite fun...minus the random men walking around in their underwear. And then there was Stewart. A random guy from West Point that sat by us at the train station on the way to Amsterdam, and proceeded to follow us around/stay with us in the houseboat the entire weekend. He also happened to be the most annoying guy of all times. We came back in one piece, and even witnessed a robbery with the guy sitting next to Greg in the train coming home. Now I´m tired and need food and a nap. Bye!
