Oh Mylanta Vol 3

So I realized two days ago how incredibly dependent upon signs I am, when a certain incident occured. I was going to go to the bathroom, and was of course sure I'd have to pay to use it. However when I rounded the corner, the doors didn't have little girls with pigtails, only words. Pitiful enough, after nearly 2 weeks here I've yet to learn the words for girls and boys. So I had to return to the bar and ask a waitress who didn't speak English to help me find which bathroom to use. I definitely looked like an idiot. Other than that I've been having lots of fun and learning experiences. We toured Bayer pharmaceutical plant yesterday which was pretty neat. My favorite part was talking to the molecular genetics people who were the first step in developing new drugs. It was definitely a career I would be interested in. Today we went on an amazing boat tour of the Rhine, a tour of the castle, and a wine tasting. The wine tasting was so much fun and to my suprise I found a wine I actually like. Yay for me.
