Another week full of amazing experiences and unforgettable memories!
We started off the week in Vienna which has been my favorite city so far! The city is absolutely gorgeous and is filled with so much rich history. We went to so many cool museums and learned all about the history of the city! My favorite part was definitely when Dr. Wasser dressed as a plague doctor and gave us a tour around the city (and gave us a literal shot at 11 in the morning). I also really enjoyed the natural history museum and learned so much at the Narrenturm (including the fact that they used to treat Syphilis patients by infecting them with Malaria).
I definitely think this week in Vienna solidified my interest in possibly doing a master's abroad! I think it is so unique to be able to learn about the differences between healthcare in Europe versus in the US and in order for things to improve or change more people need to have expanded perspectives and experiences.
After our week in Vienna, we spent the weekend in Zurich! Zurich was absolutely amazing and so relaxing. It was the perfect way to spend the weekend after living in the city for the past few weeks! We went to a garden and read our books and even went to the river and spent the rest of the day jumping off bridges and swimming in the river 10/10!
