A week in Amsterdam!

 And that’s a wrap on week 3 abroad!

This week involved lots of trains and lots of once in a lifetime  experiences! We started the week finishing up our excursion in Norderney. We had the opportunity to spend a day at the bada haus which included the sauna and a really fun water slide :). I think my favorite part was the mud hike on our last day. The view was absolutely gorgeous and everyone was just enjoying spending time in nature and learning about all of the unique wildlife in the mud flats!

After Norderney we took a weekend trip to Amsterdam (which included a total of 4 trains to make it there but totally worth it). Once in Amsterdam we went on a canal cruise (booze cruise to be exact), went to the Van Gogh museum and  explored the city and went into every single shop we could find! The most memorable part of Amsterdam was definitely the Ice Bar, which included negative 10 degree temperatures and Nutella vodka shots :) 10/10! 

We are currently on our first (of hopefully only 3) trains back to bonn and can’t wait to be back and onto our next adventure!
