Getting to Scotland was a struggle. For some reason, public transportation did really well the first week we were here and then it went downhill. We had to take a bus along the way, which took twice as long as it was scheduled for. Our flight was also majorly delayed after we thought we were going to miss it.
I believe it was a big part of my heroes journey because I had to eventually stop being angry, accept what was happening, and find an alternative.
I also felt sick for one day I was in Scotland, but I pushed myself to get through the day and the next day was much better. We went on some gorgeous hikes the next day that I will never forget.
