One of the things I've noticed about Germany is their candy stores. In a typical American candy store you will find what we would consider candy: Milk duds, skittles, snickers etc. Here in Germany they have a wider range of options that stuck out to me. In German candy stores they will have sugary cereals such as Cinnamon Toast Crunch or Fruity Pebbles, one store was even showing ads for lucky charms. This maybe because of the differences in how the two cultures see what's healthy and unhealthy, obviously these cereals are bad for you with how much sugar is in them, but are often describe as a part of a balanced breakfast while here in Germany they are considered a treat found in Candy stores.
