We're here!

We are finally all in Germany and have settled in with our host families. I live with Kirsten and Kristoffer Opdenberg. They are really nice and speak very good English. Our neighborhood is nice because both Jean and Catherine live right down the street from us so we all travel and sometimes eat together. This afternoon at lunch we had our first real German food experience. Nine of us went to lunch down the corner from the AIB. Only one girl at the restaurant spoke any English. The food was different than what we expected. We still aren't sure what Erik ate! It was an experience though. Maybe we will just go for the soup bar tomorrow!
