Into the darkness

As Josh and I were travelling back from haveing a few drinks with the girls last night, we found ourselves wondering around trying to find our correct train station. After passing the same five drunken hooligans sitting on the curb twice we really did not want to go back by. Our other option was keep on walking the same direction that we knew where our house was and we figured it wouldn't be too far of a walk. After walking for say . . . 3 minutes, we found ourselves entering an extremely dark alley way. We were faced with a decision, should we proceed into the darkness or should we face certain embarrassment by walking by the drunks a third time. After discussing many ideas and strategies, we decided to leave the darkness and take our chances with the hooligans. But as if some kind of miracle, we found our bus stop before we actually reached them and patiently waited for the 712. A strong emotion of relief came over us as we entered the train and we embraced each other . . . wait, no, that last sentence isn't true. But the rest is. It was sceary!
