Adventure in Prague!

After a exhausting yet amazing week in Vienna, a group and I headed over to Prague for the weekend! The bus ride was tricky because we had to take a late bus and try to meet up with everyone kind of late. At first It was just Marissa, Anne-marie and I trying to find our way to the airbnb everyone was sharing. The first impressions of Prague were a little bit scary because it was late and we had to use google translate to understand our uber driver. However as soon as we understood where we were going, he was super nice and helpful considering we couldn't speak each other language! Getting there so late we could only go out and see the night life so we decided to go to an ice bar and a 5 story music bar. The ice bar was super different and fun! Although we only got to stay for 20 minutes, it for sure was a once in a life time experience. The 5 story bar had different music themes on every floor and had a bunch of tourist which was cool because I got to hear about the cultures of different countries. The next day we did basically a full on hike to the Prague Castle. The view and the walk was breathe taking but it was so worth it! We climbed flights of stairs for what it seemed like 5 minutes till we were at the very top of the castle. Being claustrophobic it was a challenge because half way up it felt like there was no air but I buckled down and kept going. When we finally made it to the top I felt so accomplished and there wasn't a better way to see all of Prague! After all the walking, we did a nice calming boat tour of the city and the history behind the bridges. The next day we had breakfast at the James Bond Cafe and had tasty cappuccinos. Then we headed over to the bridge museum which was short but free! We had a couple of hours till our flight home so we went to a chocolate museum where we learned about the history of chocolate, how to make it and even made our very own chocolate bars! I will probably say this every weekend but now this city takes the place of my favorite weekend. So glad I got so explore the city and get close with my fellowaggies on this trip!
